The China palm (Livistona chinensis), also known as the Chinese fan palm or fountain palm, are a popular decorative element characterized by their large, fan shape and glossy green foliage.
The leaves are palmately compound (fan-leaved) and grow in a graceful arching manner, spilling downward like water from a fountain, which gives the plant its "fountain palm" nickname.
